Born in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Carena was created from a deep love for fashion, nature, and the elegance that lives between the desert and the sea. After working in the world of high fashion in Mexico City and Paris, I returned home with the desire to build something meaningful—something that carried the same sense of detail and history, but grounded in the lifestyle I knew best: one lived in swimsuits.

In La Paz, we grow up wearing swimwear almost every day. I wanted to create pieces that matched the beauty of this way of life—designed with intention, made to last, and crafted from the highest quality Italian fabrics. Sustainability is at the core of what we do, because protecting the oceans and landscapes that raised us is not just a value, it’s a responsibility.
